Founder John started traveling when he was just 6 months old. His father, originally from Ireland, worked for Trans World Airlines, and the family traveled back to Ireland twice each year throughout John’s childhood. Those early experiences created a lifelong passion for travel and exploring the world.

In 1994, founder John Hanley began his career in the travel industry with AmericanTours International, where he managed the motorcoach department for international travelers touring throughout the United States.

 

In 1997, John moved to Dublin, became an Irish citizen, and spent three years living in Ireland while traveling extensively throughout Europe.

​

In 2000, John returned to the United States and settled in Indiana, where he lives with his wife Mickey and daughter Zoey.
